Egglife Chips

Egglife Chips

Kristie Sullivan
These chips are dry if eaten alone, but they are delicious when served with a dip, egg salad, chicken salad, guacamole, or queso. You can also use them as a high protein nacho chip substitute.

Ingredients

  • 6 Egglife wraps whole or cut up
  • Spray olive oil or avocado oil
  • Salt or other seasonings

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375. Spray both sides of the wraps with oil and place in your air fryer. Sprinkle with salt if desired.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Seasonings besides salt tend to burn, so add any herbs or seasonings after the chips are done.
  • Let cool before storing in an airtight container.
  • If you don’t have an airfryer, use a rack and a convection oven setting.

Notes

If you don’t have an air fryer, you may have luck with these in your oven on the convection setting. Place them on a wire cooling rack rather than a sheet pan so the air can circulate more freely around the chips.

Are they still crunchy after being stored for a day or so? Also, do you store in the fridge or on the countr?

Yes, they stay crunchy. They can be stored on the counter.

I have a small air fryer. Do I need to cook just a few pieces at a time so they lay flat in the air fryer basket? Or can more be cook at once as long as I shake/turn them?

They cook best when they have plenty of room to allow air to circulate around the chips. They may be OK overlapped a little but I wouldn’t stack them on top of each other.
