Enjoy tangy barbecue sauce with rich smoked gouda cheese dip all on top of a burger and some bacon. Someone called the smoked gouda dip “pimiento cheese for adults” and well, I can’t disagree!
- 1 1/3 lb 93% lean ground beef
- 12 slices bacon
- 8 ounces Smoked Gouda Dip approximately 1 cup total
- 4 tablespoons BBQ Sauce
Use the ground beef to make burger patties that are 1/3 lb or 150g each. Cook them according to your preference.
Top each burger with 3 strips of bacon, 1/4 cup of the Smoked Gouda Dip and 1 tablespoon of the Classic BBQ Sauce
This is a fantastic traditional high fat keto meal with 44g protein and 43g fat. This is a great option if the rest of your day has been lower fat or if you’re feeling the need for a little extra energy. If you wish to make this a higher protein keto option, you can use a pork chop or chicken breast. That will help a little, but since we’re already using 93% lean beef, the main contributor of the fat in this recipe is the mayonnaise in the gouda dip and it is worth keeping!
