White Christmas Mojito

Make up a pitcher of these festive mojitos for a little extra jolly at your holiday parties! Even without the rum, this makes a great holiday drink. The cream soda, black cherry, and lemon-lime flavors blend well with the mint. The heavy cream adds just enough creaminess to make this feel like a treat.

Ingredients

  • 6 fluid ounces white rum
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint
  • 8 fluid ounces black cherry soda
  • 8 fluid ounces cream soda
  • 8 fluid ounces lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk for dairy free

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the rum and lime juice. Add the mint.
  • Use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon to muddle the mint in the rum and lime juice mixture; bruise the leaves, being careful not to shred them.
  • In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the sodas, heavy cream, and rum mixture. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with a lime slice, a few cranberries, and a sprig of mint.

Notes

When I make this mojito, I use Zevia sugar-free sodas sweetened with stevia. If you use a different brand, make sure it is truly sugar-free and steer clear of artificial sweeteners like acesulfame potassium and maltodextrin as well as sucralose, saccharin, or aspartame.
If you wish to garnish with some cranberries, you can also use my dried cranberries if you have some on hand.
