
Look at me, being on top of trends! Pantone’s color of the year for 2025 is Mocha Mousse and I think it matches my Mocha Fluff just perfectly! This recipe is from my Journey Worth Taking cookbook and this was the perfect opportunity to share it here as well. Mascarpone cheese and sour cream are rich and creamy treasures that are intensely satisfying when mixed with chocolate and a little coffee flavor. These flavors are combined to make a quick and simple delightful treat.
Mocha Fluff
Ingredients
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 12 drops liquid sweetener or to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the instant coffee granules, the cocoa powder and warm water. Stir to combine and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese and the sour cream.
- Add the mocha mixture to the larger bowl and mix well.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, salt, and liquid sweetener. Mix everything together well.
- Let chill at least 30 minutes and serve.
