Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Simmering the bourbon evaporates all of the alcohol and leaves behind a rich, wonderful flavor. This sauce is thick and rich. I like to brush it on every 15 minutes or so while roasting or grilling, but be sure to reserve some sauce for dipping. You can also mix it into prepared meat if using a slow cooker or Instant Pot. We like this one thick and sweet, so I’m more likely to use more brown sugar substitute than less.
