Hi! I was wondering if you could share with me your favorite pie crust recipe for low carb quiche and also for pies. I have been looking at different ones and they all have mixed reviews. You have so many great videos and recipes, I figured you might know a great one!
Hi Cherie! I love to cook and I do have a few “go to” crusts for sweet or savory recipes. For savory, I love the recipe I used in the tomatoe pie recipe that I just posted. It’s basically equal parts parmesan cheese and almond flour (1 cup of each). Add 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of fat (coconut oil, ghee, butter, bacon fat, tallow, etc.), 1/4 tsp salt. Mix well and press into a pie plate. I’ll link to sweet graham cracker crust and lchf “pie” crusts next.
Hi, I just bought your new book, due to arrive Friday. I live in small town rural Montana, and it is a 45 mile drive into the nearest town with large grocery stores. I am excited to make the Vanilla Coffee Creamer I read about in the reviews, but I need to know the ingredients before I go to town on Friday (the book will arrive while I am gone). Is there anything special I would need to pick-up?
Good, I did get some of that. Can’t wait to try it. Reading the book now. Love the way you relate your explanations to real life situations and examples.
Hello Kristie I’m going to start my Keto life change in a couple of weeks I’ve been following your video,s and reading all that I can I’ve ordered some books I think I have my head on straight and that I’m ready I love all your videos and recipes please keep putting them out thank you so much
A GREAT KETO-BEGINNERS BOOK!! My friend Rose told me about Keto and let me borrow your first book to look at recipes to try. I tried the muffins and sausage balls, and because they tasted pretty good, I figured I could go Keto – but I needed to get myself informed and ready for the “journey”. I read a few books about Keto, and I found your second book, Keto Living day by day, and began reading it to get prepared. The format of the book is spot-on! It answers your questions as they come up in your mind, and guides you through the real-life issues you will face as you begin Keto. The second part of the book offers more recipes, which I have begun to try. I started Keto less than a week ago, and have lost some weight, and am finding it difficult to get all the fat eaten! Thank you for a book that is very practical, and gave me the information and confidence to make it possible for me to get started on Keto. Oh, yes, and thanks to Rose for letting me borrow your book!

powdered parmesan or shredded?
I have heard some of your videos on YouTube….not LCHF yet, but you are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story.
Great recipes! and info!
Kristie-
You are invaluable to the Keto and LCHF community. I adore your videos that you make with your family and how helpful you are.
Keep up the great work!

What type of oat fiber do you use? I have tried the Miracle buscuits twice and they come out blousy and look like a brown grain. They are awful.
Thanks.
It makes a HUGE difference! I only use LifeSource or Trim Healthy Mama.
Hey Kristie, I’m a big follower of your way of Keto!! Thanks for all the work you do…

Sweetener might be the only ingredient that you might not have on hand.
