Drinkable Yogurt

Drinkable Yogurt

Kristie Sullivan
While I would not substitute this as a meal, a small 5-ounce serving makes a wonderful treat or a complement to a meal for a small boost of protein.

  • 9 ounces 2% Fage Greek yogurt about 1 ¼ cup
  • 8 fluid ounces Fairlife whole milk see notes

  • Dash salt
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 drops liquid sweetener

Notes

This recipe uses specific brands for the nutritional information shared here. Fage Greek yogurt has fewer carbs and more protein than other brands that also do not use protein powder. Similarly, Fairlife milk is ultra-filtered and is much higher protein than any other milks labeled lactose-free (13g protein per 1 cup/8 fluid ounce).
Strawberry
Add strawberry extract or ½ bag 4.5 grams of powdered freeze-dried strawberries. Increases carbs to 4.5 grams per serving.
Lemon
Add 2 packets True Lemon crystallized lemon before blending.
Vanilla
Add 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
The nutrition information below is for the plain, unflavored base.

Why add 2 kinds of milk instead of all Fairlife milk?

It helps keep the carbs lower.

As we be no fair life here what would you recommend
Also what’s the best strawberry extract you’ve tried?

I am sorry, I am not sure what a good alternate for the Fairlife would be. Most of the other alternatives have more carbs and less protein. Olive Nation is a good source of strawberry extract – they can be found online.
